Uncle Narsing’s Flight

First and foremost, to all my beloved Kasimanwas, good day to everyone!

I would like to bring to your attention the case of Uncle Narsing Fetalvero, our fellow Kasimawa, hailed from Calabasahan, presently located in Najaran, Assir Region, KSA, that for last 7 years Uncle Narsing has been denied by his employer of any vacation. He, now at his age of 60’s, having a diabetes and high blood pressure, is in distress situation due to his employer’s injustices. Uncle Narsing, together with his other 2 companions, bravely filed a complaint case against his abusive employer at the Imara (Municipal) office in Najaran, Assir Region. Labor case is now being monitored by our government officials.

The purpose of this news report is not to exploit Uncle Narsing’s misery, but to ask each one of us to please pray for Uncle Narsing’s good health and immediate repatriation. His loved ones are eagerly waiting for him to return home.

Anyway, I would like to express here my deep gratitude to Andy Relox, our TFC correspondent (also a fellow Romblomanon), based in Assir region, 300 KM away from Najaran, who first responded to bring this matter to our attention. To the best he could, Andy used his resources to call the attention of Migrante-Middle East to take part. Also, I’m so grateful with Manong Flose Famarin, being a community leader of SAHI, Al-Hassa, used his prowess to call the attention of our Khobar Labor Attache and other Filipino community groups through email. Now, the case of Uncle Narsing is in good hands of our Philippine Embassy’s government officials. Thanks be to God for His divine intervention in the affair of men!

Now, therefore, to anyone of my kasimanwas who aspire to work here overseas, my Uncle’s flight serves as message of awareness for everyone. Really, Life is tough in this part of the world wherein some employers are behaving inappropriately in such manner contrary to the best culture belief they are embracing. Once you fell into some atrocious employers it is hard to get out from their fangs. Sad to know, but it has been always the fate of many OFW’s who tried to find greener pasture in this world of intolerance behavior that long ago their vast desert was a territory of nomadic groups before its oil discovery in 1930’s.

As I shorten this report, please know well it is not my intention to discourage you but to remind everyone to be careful of choosing your employer if you’re planning to come and work elsewhere around the globe.

Here is the video clip regarding the interview of Andy Relox with Uncle Narsing, aired on TFC Channel, Balitang Middle East, ABS-CBN, 06 February 2009.

It is really heartbreaking to know that one of our kasimanwa is having this kind of injustice plight and transgression from one such unscrupulous employer!
But I would like to comment that it is inappropriate and would be unjust also to single out that this has to do with “world of intolerance religion”?! This is a merely felonious act of a single person and should not be generalized as a whole, or dubbed as or has something to do with their faith and religion! As we all know that it is a fact that this can happen, and is happening everywhere, disregard with the color, nationality, or what group are you in, or what ideas are you fighting for, or even religion! Religion is such a great idea, but I oppose the thinking that it could be used as a weapon or a shield in times of misunderstanding! When it is heartwarming to know that we join hands in this time of crisis, is it not wonderful to just serve the purpose and not attack anything in return?
Pardon me, as I am not against or attacking the person, which I think is wonderful and great, but the deliberation!

Thank you Mr. Blackenstein, I’m taking your comments constructively editing the matter not to generalize per your good advice in order to serve the main purpose and the good intentions of the writer. Let’s hope and pray someday “the barrier” to open worship be stripped off from this land so that we (Christians) may also enjoy and live freely in reciprocity. Shalom!

Let’s always pray for Saudi king: may he be a God-fearing, compassionate, pro-people, loving and a kind king who will live for a long long time for the sake of Saudi Arabia and the countries benefiting friendly relations with it.

As promised, the footage of Andy’s interview with Uncle Narsing is now uploaded for us to view.

Let’s continue to pray for Uncle Narsing immediate repatration, and allow me to quote the following scriptures in the book of Matthew as our references for our intercession:

Matt 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
Matt 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Matt 5:5 “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Matt 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
Matt 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Matt 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Matt 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.
Matt 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
Matt 5:11 “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things about you falsely on account of me.
Matt 5:12 Rejoice and be glad because your reward is great in heaven, for they persecuted the prophets before you in the same way.

To Auntie Linda / To all,

Salamat sa Diyos sa “GOOD NEWS” na narinig ko mula kay Manong Flos dahil ngayong araw na ito, May 13, 2009 (Wednesday), flight ni Uncle Narsing pabalik ng Pinas.

Glory to God!

Sali po ako diyan, he he he!

Salamat Manong Flose, nakakatuwa naman ito pong balita ninyo, maraming salamat sa tawag!

Salamat sa Lord sa lahat lahat ng taong ginamit at nanalangin sa maagang pag-uwi ni Uncle Narsing.

By the way, let’s keep on praying for Uncle Narsing to be under God’s care and protection, and His travelling mercy be upon him till he reached Philippines safe and sound!

Auntie, iyakap na lang po ninyo ako sa kay Uncle Narsing. Really, I rejoice over this good news! Ha ha ha!

Kamusta na lang po sa inyong lahat.

    More blessings!
