To ghengf,
May I extend my congratulations to participants and facilitators of the 7th SVD Youth Bible Camp held in Concepcion National HS. I believe the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is coming closer and this kind of Bible activities and spiritual sharing is a good example of Christians sharpening their faith and always ready in any eventualities. May God bless us all!!!

The whole group of participants were delighted with the full support given by our Bible Study group and CFC who had prepared all our foods, other stuffs during the camp.
The event focused on understanding the WORD of God, not just as words written for us to read and know but to live with.
EVENTS’ HIGHLIGHT
The highlights of the event are the Exodus Journey, Inner Healing activity and the Socialization part.
The Exodus journey leads our participants to the history of salvation… from the time Moses leads the Israelites to the Promised land. There are 7 stations included in the journey, most likely to be the same journey taken by the Israelites. From each station, every participants are given a moment to reflect and experience the feeling of being an Israelite. Let me mention the stations: 1) Slavery in Egypt, 2)The Burning Bush, 3)The Plagues, 4)Crossing the Red Sea, 5)The Obstacles ,6)The Ten Commandments, and 7)Promised Land. The destination after the promised land journey is a Water baptism… where everyone of us took part. It is a way of remembering the renewal of Spirits God’s chosen people.
The inner healing event I like most. Fr. Arlo Yap, SVD gives a very wonderful teaching. Part of it is looking back to the people who had hurt us, the people we cannot forget for the pains and troubles and for the most important people we always take for granted. I was moved when every young people cried and was touched. After the event, I can see a new vision in their minds and a new heart with hope. After this inner healing journey is a liturgical mass and confession session.
The final event of the 3rd day is the socialization where everyone enjoyed so much, bonding with new friends.
CONCLUSION:
The Bible camp event is another wonderful experience to remember. God moved in, and is really moving in now in Sibale. It is through the Word of God that made flesh in Jesus that we are saved. May His Words remain in us, may we have full understanding about it and truly live with it.
