We likely to hear about how "the media" are irresponsible. After all, they invade the privacy of individuals. They report lots of government secrets, violence and they sensationalized issues. They do these things to sell more newspapers, or to get higher viewer ratings.

The news media refers to the section of the mass media that focuses on presenting current news to the public. These include print media (newspapers, magazines); broadcast media (radio stations, television stations, television networks), and increasingly Internet-based media (World Wide Web pages, weblogs).

A medium (plural media) is a carrier of something. Common things carried by media include information, art, or physical objects. A medium may provide transmission or storage of information or both.

The people’s minds are controlled by the information they receive.

We believe that responsible media can play an important role in facilitating the "truth of the Gospel and reconciliation of people back to God".

Let’s pray…

For the sake of the Gospel, of our based-Bible faith, of our family and our nation Philippines, let’s agree in faith praying in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by His Blood for the truthful and responsible media, clean, unbiased, impartial, misguided news be performed to stop divisions among Filipinos, misunderstanding and conflict, internal political problems that make unstable our country’s economy.

By the authority given to His saints, let’s rebuke Satan and denounce all irresponsible, reckless, false, unfair reporting by news media, violent, immoral, corrupt and wicked entertainment programs that cause confusion to our young generations, negative influence to our society to do evils and commit crimes.

We rebuke all Satan’s cohorts and denounce publication of "false, malicious, scandalous, and defamatory" newspapers that causes deadly situation on an individual.

Let’s earnestly seek and ask God to take control of the Philippine Media for the expansion of His Kingdom here on earth to write and broadcast only the truth nothing but the whole truth that leads to constructive in re-building the nation and unity of the people. Let’s pray that God open their eyes (of understanding) so they may see the power of God in the Philippines as He did on Elisha’s servant (2 Kings 6:17).

We pray that all Philippine televisions, radio stations, newspapers, internet and all sources of public information not to violate the Philippine Constitution and congressional mandate, nor to be manipulated for political purposes/reasons but rather promote educational information toward righteousness and for the glory of our King of kings and Lord of lords!

We pray that our Almighty God to use all these media to be the source of information for Philippine citizens to choose righteous leaders for our country and to be useful tools in making sound decisions about the issues in our nation, in provinces, cities, towns and barangays, all throughout the entire archipelago of the Philippines.

We even pray for all journalists to be trained in righteousness and fair reporting, not to magnify the works of the devils but rather magnify the works of our God in the country.

LET’S CLAIM AND THANK GOD DECLARING AND PROCLAIMING ALOUD THAT JESUS IS LORD OVER THEM AND OVER THE PHILIPPINES.
