Born 25 years ago at Barangay Masudsud, Sibale Island, Province of Romblon, located in the Central part of the Philippines, Amor is the second child of three children of Cheyene S. Fadera and the late Roman J. Sartillo. Amor as friends called her spent her elementary education at Masudsud Elementary School from 1984 to 1990. As a child growing in a barrio environment everyday goes along with spending time helping parents wash clothes in a running water streams and doing household works. If there are free times her activities includes dipping in the clear water of the beautiful Masudsud Beach or just spending time collecting shells that were side swift by high waves on the shore.
At the beginning of the 1990 school year she decided to continue her high school studies in Manila, Philippines. There are two high schools in the island, Sibale Academy and the National High School but these schools are far from the barrio where she lives. She does not like the idea of walking the hills for at least two hours one way going to school. At the urging of her parents and relatives she decided that it is better for her to finish high school in Manila. From 1990 to 1994 she labored and burned lots of oils to complete the high school education at Esteban Abada High School located in Blumentritt, Sampaloc, Manila, where she graduated top 7% of her graduating class.
As an aspiring young adult who have ambitions and goals to be successful in life she pursue college studies at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila) located at Gen. Luna Street, Intramuros, Manila. To be accepted at this University is already an accomplishment by itself. Not too many aspiring high school senior planning to go to college have been accepted in this University. At the age of 21 she graduated and earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science, another remarkable accomplishment at this younger age.
Amor also is pursuing graduate studies at the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) leading to Masters in Information Technology. She already earned some academic units but currently in the rest period weighing all the options that will follow.
