I had the opportunity to once again visit Sibale when my family attended a wedding in Sampong last April 17. We stayed there for 1.5 days and then headed off to Bayan for a couple more days. This first batch of photos are taken from Sampong. The set can also be viewed on this link

“Something Nature”
I would like to invite everyone to our camera club’s (Pinoy Photography Organization) photo exhibition on Manila Ocean Park.
There will be a simple ribbon cutting / opening ceremonies at 7:00pm May 4, 2009
2 of my photos of Sibale will be included together with other nature photos from my friends. If you happen to pass by the area, I hope you guys could drop by and see these wonderful photos and enjoy the ocean park after with your family or friends. A great way of spending the summer time! The Exhibit will run until May 10, 2009 only.

I am true sibalehon… proud to be, my family owns Kibrada and tonggo talagang pagkaado manra ka tanawin sa amo!!! sador ra ninro kato baga!!! hahahaha medyo matalagal na akong di nakakapagsalita, anak ako ni Dr. Benito Galan Mercado and Venus Fedelin Yagaya… panganay na amo ni Restituto Yagaya and Efepania Fedelin y De Leon… I love this shot made by Miss Crystal… actually proud ako sa enhancement niyang ginawa…lalong lumitaw ang ganda ng tanawin, Nature and Arts are the best theme ever in Photography… stunning!!! great!!! Thank you for your VERY constructive criticism about the photos I took. I just hope that you do know what you are talking about. The only enhancement made on these photos is to boost the vibrance to make the colors pop out. I suggest you do some readings on camera settings and photography in general before you speak such ignorant remarks.
If you must know that photo that you were talking about is taken at sunset, when the sun is on the horizon. And you know what that means? There is a golden glow in the sky so it will be reflected in the sand and the surroundings in general. I painstakingly waited for that golden hour to achieve this effect. Just tell me if you don’t understand a thing I’m saying, I will gladly explain it to you.
I hate to brag, but because of these photos I posted online, a lot of people have been interested about Sibale and would want to visit it someday. These photos you are lambasting are on exhibit as well.
Shouldn’t you at least be glad that young people such as myself are showing interest in
showcasing the beauty of the island? I may not be born here nor lived here, maybe the only time I’ve spent here are the couple of days vacation I get to have a year, but just the same..I love this place and I am proud that my father’s family is from here. And I am also proud to show to other people how beautiful the place is.

It’s arrogant so-called “Sibalenhons” like you who tear/stomp down the very fibers of spurting/growing “local” patriotism (even pride) amongst Sibale’s younger generation. I”d say those profiles that you so abhorred (from jealousy?) need to come back – they are banners of success for the “children” of Sibale.
If you don’t have a life, get one! When you do, you’ll be more aware and appreciative (of the value) of other people’s efforts and talents.

I would like to thank and congratulate Vanessa for taking beautiful and wonderful photo shots of Sibale’s beaches, people and landscapes. It really touches my soul because of the nostalgic impact that the photos brings to me specially the sun-set shots of Guiwanon beach, the wooden pier of Sampong, etc. The pictures reminds me of many abundant memories that I have experienced when I was in Sibale. The panoramic beauty of our beaches and landscapes deserves a winning prize or recognition in a photo contest. As what Veverly David said, that two of the photos taken from Sibale was part of the recent photo exhibit showcasing talents of our youth in Philippine photography. This is an example of a youth who has talents, responsible and has deep concern in our hometown island Sibale. Keep up the good works Vanessa and don’t be discouraged of such unprofessional remarks or criticisms of anonymous posters in this forum. Of course you cannot please anybody but nobody can put you down because your good motives and intentions is worth commendable. I remind anonymous people participating in this forum to please identify yourselves and refrain making irresponsible remarks or criticisms to avoid bad impressions or divisions among fellow Sibalenhons. Let us focus on our own or collective way of promoting the beauty of Sibale to the world and that is one of the objective of this forun and this website. My best regards to all!!!

You do not have the right to tell me what not to upload, what pictures to delete and what to post. At wala akong tinatanggal sa profile list. Nagbabasa ka ba? If you do, you would have noticed that! Isa rin ako sa Pontio Pilatong tinutukoy mo coz I’m also listed there. You don’t know me and I dont know you either except for your email addy boloy_fajilago@yahoo.com and IP address you used in commenting here. If I were you, I would keep my mouth shut if there’s nothing better to say.
When Vanessa submitted her post, I approved it immediately. Maganda yung mga pictures, 2 lang yata kayong hindi nagandahan. At dahil dyan, gusto mo idelete ko yun, hehe, funny! I would like to inform all relatives and friends that our beloved uncle, Mr Noe Fedelin Enduma passed away yesterday morning(sept 26) His body now lie in his residence at no. 30 santol st. Greenfield heights, Bukal, Dasmarinas, Cavite( near PCU)
